ChartBrief is a training and briefing aid only. It is NOT for navigation. AIVIATION LLC is not affiliated with the FAA. Always fly from current, official FAA charts:

Do not use this app as the sole source for any approach, departure, or arrival procedure. Annotations and briefings are AI-generated and may contain errors. Procedures, NOTAMs, and minimums change; always cross-reference the current official chart and any in-effect NOTAMs before flight.
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using ChartBrief, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old.
2. License Grant
AIVIATION LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ChartBrief for personal, non-commercial briefing and training purposes on Apple-branded devices you own or control.
3. AI Features Disclaimer
ChartBrief generates chart annotations and briefing summaries using AI on AIVIATION's servers. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations of procedures, minimums, or NOTAMs. Annotations and summaries are for briefing and training purposes only. They do not constitute official FAA guidance. Always verify against the current official FAA chart and current NOTAMs before any flight operation.
4. Subscription Terms
Tiers and pricing (USD; may vary by region):
- Free -- Chart viewing, raw NOTAM list (unfiltered, unprioritized), 3 free flights (plan a flight and every chart in it is briefable), and unlimited aircraft profiles. Quick Brief -- a one-off AI briefing of a single chart without planning a flight -- requires the subscription. No subscription required and no account needed.
- Subscription -- $4.99/month or $39.99/year. Quick Brief on any airport, unlimited AI briefings, NOTAM-to-chart correlation in briefings, and saved briefings for offline review.
Free trial: The annual plan offers a 7-day free trial on first-time subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the price listed above. Any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The renewal price is the same as the initial subscription price.
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Managing and canceling subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until that date.
Refunds: Processed by Apple. Contact Apple Support through your App Store purchase history.
5. Intellectual Property
FAA d-TPP charts, the Aeronautical Information Manual, and FAA NOTAMs are U.S. government publications in the public domain. AIVIATION LLC claims no copyright in the underlying charts or NOTAM text. The app's UI, search functionality, AI annotation pipeline, briefing summary copy, and branding are (c) 2026 AIVIATION LLC. "ChartBrief" and "AIVIATION" are trademarks of AIVIATION LLC.
6. Prohibited Uses
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the app
- Citing app content as official FAA guidance in enforcement proceedings
- Using AI annotations or briefings as the primary or sole reference for actual flight operations
- Distributing or reselling access
- Using the app for any unlawful purpose
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS." AIVIATION LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CHART ANNOTATIONS, BRIEFING SUMMARIES, AND NOTAM CACHES MAY BE OUTDATED OR CONTAIN ERRORS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP REFLECTS THE CURRENT FAA CHART CYCLE OR CURRENT NOTAMS AT THE TIME OF YOUR FLIGHT. ALWAYS VERIFY AGAINST OFFICIAL CURRENT SOURCES.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AIVIATION LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON CHART ANNOTATIONS, BRIEFING SUMMARIES, OR NOTAM DATA SHOWN IN THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SUBSCRIPTION FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. EU consumers retain rights under applicable mandatory local consumer protection laws.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after the new effective date constitutes acceptance.
